Job description

Tractor Assembler- Start ASAP- Weekly Pay

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $22-$26/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 6 am- 4:30 pm

Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Tractor Assembler, where you will play a crucial role in the mechanical assembly of framework, booms, and hydraulic tanks. Your expertise in electrical assembly, including switchbox and joystick wiring, and hydraulic component assembly will be invaluable. We seek individuals who are detail-oriented, goal-driven, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Install mowing equipment onto power units including booms, draft beams, and various mower heads.
  • Inspect mounts for damage, verify dimensions and clearance of mounts for conformance to factory specifications.
  • Replace or repair worn or damaged parts.
  • Weld body or frame parts as needed.
  • Conduct testing and final inspections of completed units using checklists.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Experienced in using hand and power tools.
  • Mechanically inclined with knowledge of engines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to frequently lift, pull, push 50 pounds.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Work Environment:

Our team operates in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment, ensuring comfort and efficiency. As a tractor assembler, you will work independently and in small groups to install attachments, contributing to a collaborative and productive atmosphere. The working hours are from Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 4:30 pm, with two shifts available, guaranteeing 45-50 hours each week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
