JOB SUMMARY

The role requires an experienced synthetic chemist with deep expertise in urethane chemistry and structure-property relationships. This individual contributor position demands a hands-on approach and enthusiasm for laboratory work, focusing on synthesizing advanced urethane formulations for CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers) applications. Responsibilities include leading major product development projects from concept to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams and top-tier customers. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving and data analysis skills to resolve product quality and performance issues, proactively drives innovation through applied research, and creates high-impact business value.ย 

Requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply deep knowledge of urethane chemistry and structure-property relationships.ย 
  • Perform hands-on laboratory work to synthesize advanced urethane formulations for CASE applications.ย 
  • Lead key projects with top tier customers including driving major Product Development projects from idea phase to commercial launch.
  • Analyze data and apply structured problem-solving to resolve product quality and performance issues.ย 
  • Identify and develop novel urethane technologies through applied research and collaboration.ย 
  • Drive innovation that delivers high-impact business value.ย 


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Strong project management expertise.
  • Advanced in statistical data analysis and data driven decision making.
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master of Science in Organic Chemistry (synthetic organic/polymer chemistry preferred) or similar field.
  • 10 years of experience in an industrial environment.

PREFFERED QUALICATIONS:

  • Ph.D. preferred.
