Job description

**MACHINIST/SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SUPPORT **position available at a ~40,000sf non-climate controlled manufacturing warehouse with approx. 30+ employees producing urethane parts from raw materials. The Machinist will perform manual machining duties including but not limited to, cutting, sawing, and chopping as well as assist with quality control, parts trimming, and shipping and receiving processes.

JOB DUTIES:

Operate a Manual Lathe & Mill to machine overcast parts to size

Cutting various urethane parts

Machine urethane parts according to detailed work instructions

Assist in quality control processes including inspection of parts and ensuring compliance per specifications

Maintain documentation related to quality audits and inspections

Assist with shipping and receiving duties including handling inbound and outbound shipments, material handling, and distribution as needed

Assist with trimming and finishing processes to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional specifications

Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent Attendance a must

2+ years Manufacturing/Machining experience required

Ability to read measuring instruments (Tape measure, Dial calipers)

Basic math skills

Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs

Walk, Stand, Stoop, Bend for 8-10 hours/day

Work well in a team environment

Good communication

Follow guidelines & procedures

Attentive to detail

Reliable transportation

High School diploma or equivalent

Pre-employment drug and background screening

**HOURS: **

Monday – Thursday: 7:00am to 5:30pm

Friday: As needed – Must be available to work Friday

30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks at 10:00am & 3:00pm

40 hrs – Plus potential overtime

Pay Rate: Based on Experience
