Seasonal Position | Full-Time Temporary


We are seeking dependable and hardworking Temporary Facilities Labor Support staff to assist our Maintenance Team with summer projects, campus improvements, and housing turnovers.

This is a great opportunity for individuals with general maintenance, construction, landscaping, or facilities experience who enjoy working both indoors and outdoors.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with summer facilities improvement projects.
  • Support housing turnover projects, including room preparation and repairs.
  • Perform drywall patching, painting, and touch-up work.
  • Assist with light plumbing repairs and fixture replacements.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as assembling, repairing, and installing facility equipment and furnishings.
  • Support groundskeeping activities, including weeding, cleanup, landscaping, and general campus appearance projects.
  • Move furniture, equipment, and materials as needed.
  • Assist with campus clean-up, organization, and project preparation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support campus operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience with Painting and drywall repair

Experience with light maintenance, construction, landscaping, facilities, or related trades preferred.

Basic knowledge of painting, drywall repair, light plumbing, and general maintenance.

Ability to safely use hand tools and basic power tools.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work outdoors for extended periods.

Ability to work in varying weather conditions.


Schedule

Typical schedule will be 6 am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday

Employment duration based on project needs and summer workload.
