Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create customized treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic interventions that target mobility, strength, balance, and daily functioning
• Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families in understanding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise routines
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress meticulously following facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and conferences to ensure seamless patient care coordination

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not required
