Position Overview

Micone Companies is seeking a driven, people-focused, and results-oriented Staffing Manager to join our growing team. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role that requires someone who can move with agility, maintain sharp attention to detail, and manage the full 360-degree recruiting cycle from start to finish. The right candidate works hand in hand with our leadership team to ensure all positions are filled efficiently and with the right people, while never losing sight of the candidate and client experience along the way.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with strong long-term potential for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

360 Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Own the full 360 recruiting process from posting requisitions and sourcing candidates all the way through onboarding and starting candidates on assignment
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates across a variety of industries including warehouse, production, administrative, and office management roles
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through active recruiting, job board management, job fairs, and community outreach
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments and prepare professional submission profiles for client review
  • Manage background checks, drug screenings, onboarding paperwork, and start date coordination
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system

Leadership Collaboration

  • Work closely and consistently with the Micone leadership team to understand open positions, client priorities, and urgent staffing needs
  • Communicate updates, pipeline status, and placement progress to leadership on a regular basis
  • Align recruiting strategy and daily activity with company goals and client expectations
  • Participate in internal meetings and contribute to team-wide staffing strategy

Candidate Management & Follow-Up

  • Conduct regular phone call follow-ups with candidates throughout the hiring process and after placement
  • Perform candidate check-ins at job sites to ensure satisfaction, retention, and performance
  • Address candidate concerns proactively and escalate issues to leadership when appropriate
  • Track placement statuses, assignment timelines, and temp-to-hire conversion milestones

Client Relations & Business Development

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building strong, trust-based relationships
  • Conduct client check-ins to assess ongoing staffing needs, gather feedback, and ensure service satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities through networking and community involvement
  • Prepare and present candidate submissions professionally and in a timely manner

Events & Community Outreach

  • Attend job fairs, chamber events, veteran programs, and community hiring initiatives on behalf of Micone Companies
  • Build and maintain relationships with organizations such as EDAWN, the Chamber of Commerce, TMCC, and other local partners
  • Represent the Micone brand professionally across all community touchpoints

Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure all placements meet client requirements including background checks, drug screenings, and any position-specific credentials
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and staffing industry standards
  • Assist with temp-to-hire conversion tracking and direct hire fee documentation as applicable
  • Prepare end-of-day activity reports for internal leadership

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in staffing or recruiting.
  • 360 full-cycle recruiting experience required — from initial requisition through candidate start
  • Ability to work with agility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail across all aspects of the recruiting and placement process
  • Must be comfortable conducting phone call follow-ups and job site candidate check-ins
  • Ability to work hand in hand with a leadership team and take direction while also working independently
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions and client accounts simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems
  • Professional, reliable, and results-driven
  • Must provide a current resume and complete an in-person interview
  • Pre-employment background check required
  • Pre-employment drug screening required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a staffing agency environment strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse, industrial, administrative, or light industrial placements
  • Experience with Crelate or similar ATS platforms
  • Active involvement in local business or community organizations is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
