Job description

Job Summary

Supports the movement and growth opportunities for inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers. Ensures that freight is processed in compliance with governmental regulations (e.g., Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, etc.). Collaborates with vendors, customers, commercial airline carriers, ocean freightliners, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments. Responsible for overseeing, evaluating, and correcting the performance and outcomes of a team or multiple teams. Coordinates work across the organization to optimize efficiency. Makes key workforce decisions, such as hiring, onboarding, transferring, laying off, disciplining, assigning, directing, instructing, developing, and rewarding employees. Emphasis on aligning processes and fostering cohesion among team members. Sets priorities to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Problem solving is guided by policies, procedures and the local business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager. Typically, does not perform the work supervised.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) or be a current UPS employee with three years of UPS experience. Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred. Freight forwarding experience โ€“ Preferred. Warehouse experience โ€“ Preferred. This position may require traveling depending on business needs.

Additional Criteria

Job Grade: 20F. This is not a remote position. Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to self-relocate โ€“ Required. Shift: Monday โ€“ Friday, 12:00 pm - 9:30 pm. Last day to apply is Thursday, September/10/2026 at 11:59 pm. Pay Range

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $90.060,00/year to $146.400,00/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidateโ€™s work experience. Hired applicants are offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companyโ€™s performance.
