As an Upholsterer, you will join a dedicated team specializing in high-quality furniture restoration and custom upholstery projects for residential and commercial clients. This role requires precision, creativity, and craftsmanship to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have strong sewing and hand-tool skills, experience with power tools, and a passion for transforming furniture pieces into works of art.
Responsibilities:
- Sew and assemble upholstery components for furniture, including chairs, sofas, sectionals, and custom-built pieces.
- Fabricate and install upholstery covers using a variety of fabrics and materials.
- Operate power tools to cut, shape, and trim materials for assembly.
- Perform detailed inspections to ensure all finished products meet quality standards.
- Restore and refurbish furniture, including frame adjustments and padding replacement.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
