What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Unreal Engine Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Unreal Engine Developer, you need strong proficiency in C++ programming, 3D math, and a solid understanding of game development principles, usually supported by a degree in computer science or a related field. Expertise in Unreal Engine's Blueprint system, version control tools like Git, and familiarity with asset pipelines are typically required.
