About the Role
We are seeking a Software Developer to join our team on a 6-month basis.
In this role,you'll support a cross-disciplinary team of content developers working on content and gameplay prototypes. You will be responsible for rapidly responding to the team's needs across UI and various gameplay systems. You'll also help the content team implement their ideas the "Unreal way". The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver work that meets both creative and technical standards for AAA projects.
Responsibilities
• Support a cross-disciplinary team of artists and designers to accelerate delivery of their work
• Deliver features crossing UI, gameplay, and engine systems
• Identify missing systems required to support the team and propose solutions to the team's
technical director
Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in game development in C++
• 3+ years of experience with Unreal Engine 5
• Shipped multiple multi-platform games on consoles with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
Nice to haves:
• Experience building ARPG and/or shooters
• Experience re-architecturing and nativizing existing blueprint systems
