Job description

Job Duties:
  • Performs design & development of applications on moderate to complex projects utilizing HP/OpenText Exstream.
  • Work with business partners and development teams to create letter/document applications based on requirements
  • Provides technical support and troubleshooting for system related issues
  • Participate in Proof of Concept work and prototyping when necessary
  • Collaborates with Business Analysts to confirm understanding of business requirements relating to features to be delivered and to help the Business Analyst define requirements that can be delivered from a technical perspective
  • Collaborate with Test Engineers and Senior Test Engineers as to ensure that software meets the definition of done

What we're looking for
  • Applications development and programming experience
  • Must have experience with the following technology:
    • Exstream output format handling - PDF, HTML
    • Design & develop Exstream templates via Exstream Designer to include testing, maintaining, supporting, and documenting templates and document applications.
    • Hand-on experience in HP/OpenText Exstream page design such as complex data section driven tables, data sections, data mapping for file types like XML, Delimited files, and Columnar files
    • Development, migration, enhancement, and production support
    • Know common Unix commands
  • Experience in SQL involving creating tables, writing insert and update queries, data model design for new applications.
