Job description

Anderson University's Business Office invites applications for a full-time position as Staff Accountant. Anderson University is an innovative, entrepreneurial, premier comprehensive, liberal arts university affiliated with the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The University seeks a candidate with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning are encouraged to apply.
Candidates should be prepared to perform accounting functions within the Business Office including accounting for the endowment of the University, accounting for grants, pledges, gift-in-kind, and other contributions, managing company fixed assets, completing reporting, surveys and benchmarking for the finance area, assisting the Accounting Manager and Controller in special projects as well as day to day office functions. BS/BA in Accounting or Accounting Related field is preferred. Three to five years' experience in accounting and nonprofit or higher education experience is highly preferred.
