Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist

Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation

Specialty: Physical Therapy

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day

Hours per Shift: 8

Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty

License: Current state license required

Certifications: BLS, LA State License

Must-Have: Specialized in orthopedic and geriatric care

Unit accepts first-time travelers, but not new graduates

Description: Please ensure the traveler is aware of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting your role, your unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed during each emergency event as impacts vary. By signing your travel contract to take a position, you accept the above conditions and will report as assigned by your immediate unit manager if an emergency event occurs. You should consider this role only if you are comfortable with the outlined expectations. Average daily census is roughly 25 patients, split between 2.5 therapists. Expected visits per day range from 8 to 12.
