As the Director of Marketing, you will have a strategic global leadership role responsible for planning, developing, and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. You will lead a team of marketing professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and work closely with senior management to achieve company goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Identify market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and lead a team of global marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular timely feedback, and support professional development.
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines and standards.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, email, events, etc.) to drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve KPIs.
  • Develop and oversee the digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and online advertising.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure and optimize digital marketing effectiveness, track and report KPIs as required by marcom and the Business Unit.
  • Create compelling product narratives and materials for different target audiences.
  • Manage media relations, social media, and PR efforts to enhance the company's reputation and manage crisis communications.
  • Develop and distribute press releases, thought leadership articles, and other relevant content to meet Business Unit and AMETEK KPIs.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategies.Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to drive innovation in marketing efforts.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Manage trade shows and conferences to include event schedule, content, advertising, boothing, and subcontractor support to expand Abaco market awareness.
  • Monitor expenses and report on budget performance to senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and design, to ensure alignment and maximize marketing impact.
  • Effectively communicate marketing strategies and results to senior management.
  • Manage and oversee Marketing Qualified Lead generation, email campaigns, website content/maintenance, and marketing inputs using tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, and Sitecore

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience 10+ years in marketing leadership roles, with a track record of successful strategy development and execution.

Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content creation, and lead generation.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in B2B/B2C marketing, depending on the company's focus.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
