The Position
We are seeking a dependable self-starter who is eager to learn compliance skills while supporting the organization operationally. The position works with the campaign and non-connected divisions and will benefit from exposure to both sides of the organization.


High attention to detail is required as specific processes and instructions must be followed. Excellent communication skills are a must as this position will work with multiple teams. The right candidate is also very organized in order to maintain all of the different moving parts of the organization.


This position reports to the Operations Manager and the candidate must reside within a commutable distance to the Washington, D.C. office or be willing to relocate as physical presence is required at the office Monday through Friday.


Candidates should also be able to walk short to mid distances often and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.


This position is a member of collective bargaining unit, represented by 1900 Local IBEW. The pay range is $57,000 - $60,000 per year.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing mail and contributions
  • Answering phone calls and liaising with vendors and partners
  • Running external errands, as necessary
  • Maintaining databases for reporting
  • Ensuring data hygiene
  • Reviewing data for accuracy
  • Performing basic bookkeeping functions
  • Assisting in the preparation of federal and state campaign finance reports
  • Assisting with employee engagement events and other activities

Education and Experience

The successful candidate holds a degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience and is proficient with the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with campaigns is preferred, but not required.
