• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of students to identify mental health needs and support requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to address the specific challenges faced by each student.
• Provide both individual and group psychotherapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies when necessary, ensuring students receive immediate support during critical situations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational protocols and state regulations.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school counselors, and parents to coordinate holistic care that supports student success.
• Actively participate in staff meetings and clinical supervision to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance service delivery.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health care, integrating new research findings into your practices to improve client outcomes.

The primary clients in this role are children and adolescents attending school, many of whom may be experiencing behavioral issues, academic difficulties, trauma, anxiety, or depression. By addressing their mental health needs, you will help facilitate improved educational experiences and promote emotional resilience among students.

• A Master’s degree in social work from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• Proof of experience in providing psychotherapy across a variety of mental health conditions is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational staff.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and telehealth platforms for efficient patient management and documentation.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
