Familiarity with grievance management systems, contract databases, and legal research tools is typically required. Outstanding communication, conflict resolution, and advocacy skills help a representative effectively support members and foster positive relationships. These skills ensure the Union can protect workers' rights, negotiate fair agreements, and address workplace issues efficiently.
