Scrum Leader Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, skilled, and upbeat Scrum Leader to be part of a squad responsible for launching and growing product offerings in FILI. You will support one or more cross-functional squads, engaging with all team members and the Squad Leader to reinforce and embed an agile approach and principles into the day-to-day work. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you will evolve and sustain an innovative agile culture.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

  • Deep experience in software development, with at least 4 years leading scrum teams focused on building software solutions for technology initiatives
  • Experience in a Scrum Leader role and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions
  • Deep knowledge of scrum tools – Jira, Jira Align experience desirable
  • Excellent systems analysis skills
  • Experience in developing and authoring solution requirements and specifications for moderate to complex software systems
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and API (Application Programming Interface) consumer tools such as Postman
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technology subject area

This team is looking for a Dual Hat Scrum Leader/Systems Analyst to be part of its multidimensional, globally distributed team of IT professionals responsible for the development and maintenance of FILI Tech Platform. The ideal candidate should show ease at making personal connections, be confident in leading and constructively challenging with a dedicated approach to solving problems and overcoming obstacles. You will partner with other members on the squad to accelerate value delivery, by acting as a change agent, role model, and teacher. You will support them as they mature in their understanding and application of agile principles and practices (e.g., Scrum ceremonies) and remove impediments to fully realizing the benefits of working in an Agile format and structure. You will assist the Product Owner with requirement gathering and story writing and participate in a wider Scrum of Scrums to help influence standard methodologies at a tribe level.
