This is a Teamsters Local 346 Union position. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining assigned tractor-trailer equipment. Work closely with your road construction crew to ensure timely delivery of product from a mobile asphalt plant.

This is a seasonal position that generally requires travel through Northern Minnesota and North Dakota with other work locations as assigned. Lodging assistance (generally in the form of a Per Diem) is provided.

Minimum Qualifications:

A successful Commercial Driver for Knife River Materials will have:

  • A valid Commercial Driver's License Class A with acceptable driving record
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent critical thinking skills
  • Ability to pass and maintain a Department of Transportation physical
  • Ability to pass a Department of Transportation drug/alcohol screen and remain substance free

Compensation

Estimated Wage: $28.95 to $35.18 Per Hour-depending on work location and type of truck operated
