Salary: $30-$40/hr
Asphalt Milling Foreman
Location: Harrison, OH (Onsite/ Travel)
Pay: $30-$40/hr
Responsibilities:
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of the milling crew to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.
  • Set up milling equipment, traffic control, and job sites while monitoring milling depth, grade, slope, and surface preparation to meet project specifications.
  • Communicate with project managers, paving foremen, and inspectors to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and maintain production goals.
  • Maintain daily records of labor, equipment usage, production quantities, and project progress while overseeing equipment maintenance and coordinating repairs.
  • Train and mentor crew members, enforce company safety policies, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and site-specific regulations.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating or supervising asphalt milling equipment; 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt milling techniques, roadway preparation, grade control, and equipment operation.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, work orders, and project specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred/ OSHA is a plus
  • Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and overnight travel as project demands require.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, operating heavy equipment, and working outdoors in varying conditions.
