Assistant Property Manager - Union Flats
Salary: $60,000 Annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
We're seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional with strong organizational and leadership skills to support the daily operations of our thriving residential community.
As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional living experience for our residents, overseeing leasing, coordinating resident retention initiatives, managing daily operations, and ensuring our community reflects WPM's high standards of excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing and supporting all leasing activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to Fair Housing regulations.
  • Reviewing renewals and developing creative retention strategies to maintain high occupancy levels.
  • Initiating and managing eviction proceedings by providing required documentation to accounting staff.
  • Conducting routine property inspections, recording deficiencies, and coordinating corrective actions within budget guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure timely and high-quality unit turns and maintenance resolutions.
  • Managing marketing efforts to maintain strong curb appeal and minimize vacancies through competitive analysis and outreach.
  • Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records, including payroll, invoices, and expenditure approvals.
  • Fostering strong relationships with residents through proactive communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Supervising, training, and developing on-site staff while promoting company values and enforcing policies.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing coverage for daily operations and emergency responses.
  • Preparing and submitting reports to ownership and management summarizing community performance and financial results.

Qualifications:
  • Proven success in residential property management with experience as a Leasing Specialist, Assistant Manager, or Community Manager.
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to resident satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with property management/accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
