About the role
The Field Service Technician II is responsible for the clean-up and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. Field Service Technician II is expected to perform various tasks including but not limited to loading and unloading tanks and tankers with bulk liquids, complete inspection of equipment, hoses and connections as well as perform confined space entry.
Position Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts and power tools with minimal direct supervision in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements.
  • Use of forklift, skid loader and specialty vacuum equipment and/or other equipment as needed perform work activities related to chemical, oil, and water spills.
  • Driving a commercial vehicle to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water. Secures cargo prior to and during transport.
  • Leads team on small daily confined space projects, communicating verbally and electronically with the Manager and onsite customers.
  • Complete documentation including manifests and driver logs.
  • Daily work in confined space entry, mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic, electrical tools and other tools as needed
  • Acts as a professional representative of Reworld while acting in an autonomous manner at a customer site.
  • Removes materials from tanks, pits, or trenches with hand tools.
  • Work in confined spaces above or below ground and on or under equipment.
  • Maintain a neat and clean working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience or has completed all Technician I Reworld training
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record

  • Combination of both regional and at home daily
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
  • Complies with OSHA Health and Safety Rules and completes required training provided by Reworld.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED

Physical Demands of the Role
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
  • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
  • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
  • Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
  • Consistently work in various weather conditions

Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 20.72 - 27.60 USD per hour
