Their responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists and other medical staff. Union MRI Technologists must adhere to strict protocols to ensure high-quality images and patient comfort. They typically work in hospitals, imaging centers, or outpatient clinics.

To thrive as a Union MRI Technologist, you need a thorough understanding of MRI procedures, anatomy, and safety protocols, typically supported by an associate's degree in radiologic technology and ARRT or ARMRIT certification. Proficiency in operating MRI scanners, PACS systems, and related imaging software is essential. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and patient care skills help you stand out in this role. These abilities ensure accurate imaging, patient safety, and effective collaboration with healthcare teams, which are critical for quality diagnostic outcomes.
