Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a highly motivated SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity team.
Summary:
This individual will be responsible for monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents across a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with modern security platforms, endpoint protection solutions, vulnerability management tools, and identity security technologies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with IT, infrastructure, and business teams to strengthen the organization's overall security posture.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cybersecurity Analyst, Incident Response, or related security role
* Knowledge of network security concepts, endpoint security, authentication, and access management
* Experience investigating security alerts and responding to cybersecurity incidents
* Understanding of common attack frameworks, including the MITRE ATT&CK framework
* Familiarity with security monitoring and log analysis
* Experience working with vulnerability management processes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
