Job description

Overview
The Senior Creative Writer will support Frontwave Credit Union's overall marketing strategy to acquire, retain, and deepen Member relationships by assisting with the development and implementation of effective marketing and communications strategies for the Frontwave Credit Union's products, services, and organizational initiatives. The role will serve as a marketing liaison and subject matter expert for assigned distribution channels and product lines while partnering with cross functional team members to implement and address specific needs. The Senior Creative Writer is responsible for collaborating with marketing team members to support creative and tactical promotional campaign components and identify trends, best practices and opportunities for alternative strategies and programs.
The Senior Creative Writer will execute and implement effective communications programs for Frontwave Credit Union's products and services. This role will optimize marketing efforts to keep Frontwave Credit Union top-of-mind by acquiring and retaining engaged members while also deepening relationships with new and existing membership. The Senior Creative Writer will perpetuate the brand through relevant, timely and compelling communication that builds affinity and causes people to act.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following non-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Manage best-in-class communication strategies aimed at driving top-of-mind awareness.
  • Oversee the development of appropriate copy to extend the Frontwave brand and build emotional connections with members, employees, and the community.
  • Serve as a Frontwave Brand ambassador ensuring consistency in the organization's voice, key messages, and editorial style across all channels. Varies language and tone of message based on product, medium, and target audience.
  • Manage the execution of marketing communications, namely creative content for newsletter articles, online webpages, promotional/campaign, press releases, internal communications in support of Frontwave's marketing communications strategies that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products and services.
  • Create content for paid traditional and digital media program including OOH, programmatic, retargeting, social, and search.
  • Serve as the department subject matter expert in standing and/or ad hoc cross functional team committees as requested to support Frontwave's communication goals and objectives.
  • Develop and present department communications to cross-functional groups including, but not limited to, leadership teams.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related field, including Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
5-7+ years marketing communications experience for content development.
Well-developed project management skills with knowledge of campaign development process including familiarity with all types of marketing communications from print to digital.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in financial services.
And/or experience working in world-class hospitality or consumer brands.
Salary Range: $34.56 /hr- $51.84/hr
