Job description

MGM Television, the longstanding semi-independent division of Amazon MGM Studios responsible for tremendous content including Wednesday, Fargo, The Handmaid's Tale, The Testaments, etc., has an immediate opening for a Creative Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a deep understanding of the entertainment industry. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage complex calendars and schedules with precision, strong verbal and written communication skills, a passion for television, and a willingness to learn from and work within a highly collaborative team in which every opinion is valued. While this is a creative position, the ideal candidate should also have a basic understanding and willingness to learn more about all aspects of the television development and production process - including physical production, casting, business affairs, music, etc


Key job responsibilities
Manage complex and dynamic executive calendar including meetings, travel and events.
Roll a high volume of calls and organize expenses.
Coordinate internal and external meetings across multiple time zones with high attention to detail.
Evaluate incoming creative material.
Track and help drive completion of key deliverables.
Organize and maintain files, documents and confidential materials.
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, key players, and current events.
Effectively prioritize, manage multiple deadlines and competing needs.
