About the Role:
Join our team at Dr. Squatch as a TikTok Creative Manager! We're looking for a strategic, creative, and highly driven individual who knows how to build and scale a brand on TikTok, with a focus on in-feed content, creator ecosystems, and account growth.
You will be a key owner of our TikTok strategy, leading creative direction and driving channel performance. This role focuses on developing high-performing content and scaling our presence, while managing external creative and Live agency partners.
You will shape how Dr. Squatch shows up on TikTok, driving creativity, performance, and community connection, while also helping elevate creative direction and growth across the broader social team.
The ideal candidate has a strong creative point of view, a deep understanding of TikTok culture, and the ability to both direct and create content.
This role will report to the Sr. Social Media Manager.
This is a full-time role with company benefits based in Marina Del Rey, CA.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $100,000 to $115,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.
What You'll Do:
  • Strategy & Ownership
    • Own and evolve Dr. Squatch's TikTok strategy with a focus on content performance, audience growth, and brand relevance.
    • Develop and execute content plans aligned with campaigns, launches, and growth goals.
    • Identify opportunities to scale reach, engagement, and revenue.
  • Agency & Creator Management
    • Manage relationships with TikTok Live agencies and creative partners.
    • Source, onboard, and guide creators to produce high-performing content.
    • Provide clear briefs, direction, and feedback.
  • Creative Direction
    • Develop concepts, moodboards, and briefs to guide content production.
    • Maintain a strong brand voice while pushing creative boundaries.
    • Stay ahead of trends and translate them into scalable content.
  • Content Creation
    • Create and publish video in-feed content as needed.
    • Step in as on-camera talent when appropriate.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to execute campaigns.
  • Performance & Optimization
    • Analyze performance across content and Live streams.
    • Use insights to refine strategy and creative output.
    • Test new formats and approaches to improve results.x
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Social, Marketing, and Growth teams on campaigns.
    • Align TikTok efforts with broader brand goals.
    • Provide creative input to support content performance and growth.
    • Share trends and insights to improve overall social strategy.

About You:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Video Production, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience creating and guiding social content, with a strong emphasis on TikTok.
  • 4+ years of experience working with or directing creators, agencies, or collaborators.
  • Highly comfortable performing on camera.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok analytics and performance metrics, with the ability to translate insights into content direction and growth strategies.
  • Strong editing and production skills using tools such as TikTok native editor, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or similar.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok culture, trends, memes, and audience behavior.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a natural ability to connect with an online community.
  • A creative storyteller who can develop engaging content and scalable formats that drive growth.
  • Passion for community engagement and representing a brand voice consistently and authentically.
  • Energetic, witty, adaptable, and willing to take creative risks in a fast-moving environment.
