Estimator Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrated, on multiple projects, expertise in all aspects of project estimating from project pre-planning thru commissioning/closeout.
  • Proven track record of successful estimating performance as measured by internal customer satisfaction, absence of project disputes based on budget/estimating problems, profitability, timely completion, project documentation, project transition from estimating to operations and estimating staff development.
  • Analyze architectural plans, blueprints, and project specifications to prepare accurate estimates for drywall projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information and data.
  • Calculate material quantities and labor costs required for each project.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate materials and construction methods to ensure cost-efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive bids and proposals for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to address questions and provide clarifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

Education/Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Construction related field.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organization skills.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude.
  • Self-starter, results driven and able to work independently.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a broad group of stakeholders to foster trust and partnership.
  • Ability to multi-task and is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
