Job description

Job Summary
This position is responsible for the safe, comfortable, courteous, and timely transport of patients via prescribed transport vehicles.
Core Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for working with the nursing staff to assist in the patient care related to the transfer and transport of the patient to and from the nursing unit
  • Responsible for the delivery of equipment and reallocation of transport devices to various areas within the organization
  • Greeting customers/ patients and responding to their needs questions in the main lobby
  • Ensures a clean and safe environment by maintaining safety standards and performing cleaning in the main lobby as needed
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

PREFERRED:
  • Knowledge of computer/phone systems preferred.
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a high-pressure environment.
