Job description

Transform technical challenges into solutions! As a Senior Technical Application Specialist, you will provide exceptional technical support and guidance for Epicor Vision ERP, partnering with some of the largest automotive aftermarket wholesale parts distributors across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. In this customer-facing role, you'll troubleshoot complex application issues, deliver practical solutions, and build trusted relationships by helping customers maximize the value of their Vision investment.

What you will be doing:

  • Acquire and maintain current knowledge of Vision ERP software.
  • Provide software and hardware support for existing customers.
  • Diagnose technical and/or system problems via phone, email; troubleshoot, repair, and test solutions; fully document and escalate if necessary.
  • Follow procedures to troubleshoot client-server software application and hardware issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with software updates and changes to provide timely and accurate solutions to customers.
  • Contribute to and use the department's knowledge base articles and FAQs.

What you will likely bring:

  • At least 4 years' experience in service support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and escalation judgment.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Server and Unidata or other PICK Databases.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.
  • Experience with documenting procedures and writing knowledge base articles.
  • Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and dedication to the customer experience.

  • Experience with product warehousing, distribution, and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge and applied use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Co-Pilot).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, ERP applications, or analytical tools.
  • Ability to work all available shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Calm under pressure and strong incident ownership.
  • Clear and concise writer, able to document cases and resolutions accurately.
  • Ability to build relationships and develop trust with customers over time.
