Job description

We are welcoming applications for future adjunct faculty openings.
Interested candidates should submit a Cover Letter and Resume/CV. In your cover letter please reference the type of law you have experience in and an interest in teaching.
An Adjunct Professor of Law (Adjunct) teaches course(s) at UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law as assigned by the Associate Dean for Faculty or Associate Dean for Academic Administration for a specific term.
Duties/Responsibilities may include:
  • preparing the syllabus and materials for course delivery;
  • updating the course information and materials within the applicable Learning Management System;
  • providing students with timely and specific feedback;
  • responding to student inquiries within 24 hours;
  • offering weekly office hours for individual or group consultation;
  • grading assignments and exams in a timely manner and no later than by the deadline set by the law school;
  • submitting final grades according to UNH Franklin Pierce policy and the individual program calendars;
  • maintaining communication with UNH Franklin Pierce faculty and staff through email, mail, telephone, and any other medium deemed appropriate; and
  • other duties as assigned

Compensation Pay Range:
  • $2,150 - $15,000 depending on the course, the amount of credits, and the instructor's experience

The Associate Dean for Faculty, subject to approval of the Dean, will determine the Adjunct's workload and will be responsible for evaluating the Adjunct's performance.
