About Us

Federally designated as a senior military college, one of the university's signature leadership programs is its 800-member Corps of Cadets on UNG's Dahlonega Campus.
Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Regional Recruiter. The Regional Recruiter recruits new students to UNG's Corps of Cadets. This person provides accurate and timely information about academic and co-curricular program offerings, services, costs and financial aid to prospective students, parents, and other influencers, works with the Commandant's Office Staff, Professor of Military Science Staff, and Corps of Cadets during recruiting events, in conjunction with the Assistant Director, Associate Director, and Director to achieve recruiting goals.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for presenting information to tour groups, and communicating with prospective students, parents and/or influencers via phone, e-mail, or in person.
  • Responsible for recruiting events and activities (high school visits, College Fairs, Academy Day, NLC and Open House) to achieve recruitment goals for both in-state and out-of-state.
  • Assist with SLATE database management for Cadet Recruiting.
  • Assist the Director with analyzing and determining enrollment data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to make strong presentations to groups of prospective students and parents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel) is desired.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds, work without supervision, multi-task, manage workload, and meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must posses valid and current driver's license.
  • Recruitment travel is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference given to the UNG Corps of Cadets alumni.
