The Personal Lines Technical Assistant provides administrative support and value-add services to Personal Lines Account Manager, Team Leaders and Producers.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Enter endorsement items into the Agency Management System.
  • Verify for accuracy and bill all endorsements received from carriers.
  • Follow up on overdue items.
  • Process all requests for vehicle changes; issue ID cards accordingly; issue binders for leased vehicle requests; issue forms and follow up.
  • Data entry of all applicable underwriting information, correspondence or all other client/carrier pertinent information into the profit center management system as required.
  • Assist other support staff and producers with any service related matters.
  • Keep Personal Lines Leader apprised of any service issues or problems.
  • Verify new policies for accuracy according to the policy checklist, bill policy accordingly, and mail the policy to the insured.
  • Transpose all pertinent data from new and renewal policies into the agency management system and verify accuracy of info.
  • Follow agency guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Promote teamwork, support, knowledge sharing and a positive attitude in the department and office.
  • Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology including professional development and continuing education required for valid licensing.
  • Attend meetings as required by the Profit Center Leader or Personal Lines Leader.
  • Pursues a course of personal, professional development.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Willingness to obtain Insurance Producer license in good standing (authorities in states needed to service the assigned book of business)

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Pay Range

$24 - $26 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
