Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Assist with the preparation and detonation of explosives.
  • Work from a man basket at heights of 25' up to 50' performing hand scaling, markup and face loading activities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Handle and transport explosives safely.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of blasting equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Support the blasting team with various tasks as needed.

What Are We Looking For

Conditions of Employment

  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment
  • Role operates primarily in an underground mine where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment and elevated noise level.
