Job description

Computer Evidence Specialists has been selected by the Federal government to serve as the Federal Tobacco Compliance Check vendor in Nebraska. CES inspectors and underage purchasers will perform non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to minors is restricted.
Ideal underage purchasers will be 16 โ€“ 19 years old, have a strong work ethic, and have sufficient free time to complete the assigned inspections with the inspector. Purchasers must complete the following forms which will be provided by CES: Parental Release, Medical Release, Underage Purchaser Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement and Commitment to Protect Non-Public Information.

Duties/Responsibilities:
โ€ข Identify and verify site address provided
โ€ข Complete short online training course
โ€ข Provide non-confrontational checks on tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to Underage Purchasers is restricted
โ€ข Site inspections are coordinated with an experienced adult Compliance Inspector with prior law enforcement related experience or employment with city/state government
โ€ข Purchaser will not deceive the retailer in any way
Required qualifications/skills:
โ€ข Must be under the age of 20 years and 9 months when performing any compliance check
โ€ข Must have Nebraska State ID
โ€ข Attention to details
โ€ข Strict adherence to deadlines and privacy

โ€ข Must complete a standard background check, if 18 years or older
