Learn more at www.aquatech.com

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Systems Integration Engineer to support the continued expansion of Aquatech's Global Microelectronics Team. This role is critical to strengthening our technical execution capabilities across semiconductor and advanced manufacturing markets, with responsibilities spanning ultra-pure water (UPW) and wastewater treatment systems, onsite commissioning and startup, development of semiconductor-focused standards and methods, and design layout recommendations that promote efficient operations, maintainability, and long-term system reliability.

The position will serve as a key collaborative bridge between engineering, operations, and end users, helping to establish the technical documentation, design approaches, execution methodologies, and market understanding necessary to support rapid growth within the microelectronics sector. The role will also play an important part in educating both customers and internal teams on semiconductor facility requirements, industry expectations, and best practices associated with high-purity water and wastewater systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of ultra-pure water (UPW), wastewater treatment, water reuse, and related utility systems for semiconductor and advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • Provide technical leadership during project planning, system integration, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and operational optimization activities.
  • Develop and implement semiconductor-focused standards, commissioning documentation, and execution methodologies to improve project consistency and delivery effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, construction, and end-user teams to ensure systems are designed for operational efficiency, maintainability, reliability, safety, and long-term scalability.
  • Evaluate facility and utility layouts to recommend improvements that enhance operational access, maintenance strategies, constructability, and overall system performance.
  • Serve as a technical resource for semiconductor manufacturing requirements, helping internal teams understand industry expectations, design philosophies, operational drivers, and critical utility performance requirements.
  • Support factory and utility startup activities, including system turnover, operational readiness, functional testing, performance verification, and ramp support.
  • Assist in identifying technology gaps, execution risks, and process improvement opportunities associated with semiconductor water and wastewater systems.
  • Participate in the development of technical training materials and educational sessions for both internal personnel and external customers.
  • Interface with clients, equipment suppliers, integrators, and project stakeholders to align technical requirements, operational objectives, and project execution strategies.
  • Contribute to lessons learned, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen Aquatech's long-term microelectronics capabilities.

Benefits: Aquatech offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, company-paid holidays, and a 401K plan (all benefits are based on eligibility).

Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above and below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Physical Job Demands: Lifting/carrying/moving and exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. May need to climb ladders, cannot be afraid of heights, and will need to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while on site. It involves sitting at a desk for extended periods. Needs a high degree of concentration in a busy area.
