Title: Ultra-pure Water (UPW)/Wastewater Treatment Technician (WWT) - (Night Shift)

Ideal Start Date: 7/27

Duration:1 Year (after 1 year possible conversion to Full Time)

Location: Malta, NY

Work Schedule: (Night Shift) (M-F | 7pm-3am) (40hrs)

Project Details:

This a 1 Year Position that the Client is seeking a UPW & Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Technician to support the operation and maintenance of critical facility utility systems. This role is responsible for control room monitoring, alarm response, chemical offloads, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of UPW and WWT systems. The technician will work closely with Facilities Operations, Management, and Engineering to ensure safe, reliable operation and maximum system uptime at the Malta, NY fab.

Musts:

  • UPW (Ultra-Pure Water) Systems/Wastewater Treatment (WWT) Experience
  • troubleshooting of UPW & WWT systems and Chemical valve manifold boxes(VMBs) during offload operations
  • Perform maintenance on various equipment including but not limited to AODD pumps, Centrifugal pumps, Reverse Osmosis units, Multimedia Filter, Ion Exchange units and Chemical waste treatment trains
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of analytical equipment including but not limited to pH, Fluoride, ORP, Conductivity, SiO2, and Boron measurement
  • Support and participate in maintaining workspaces and systems to meet Fab8s 6S program
  • 2 Year Technical associate s degree in science, Math, Engineering, Semi-Conductor operations or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent military training / experience with a minimum of 2 years relevant facilities experience.
  • Certification from an accredited trade school with a minimum of 3 years relevant facilities experience
  • Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
