Location: Remote (Occasional Travel to Client/Infosys Office as Required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Cloud Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, UK and German taxation, German GAAP accounting, and German regulatory reporting (Z4/Z5 reporting). The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials for multinational organizations operating across the UK and Germany, ensuring compliance with local statutory, tax, and financial reporting requirements.

The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to design, configure, test, and deploy Oracle Finance Cloud solutions aligned with European accounting standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Oracle Fusion Financials functional implementations, enhancements, and support activities.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle Finance Cloud solutions.
  • Configure and support Oracle Financial modules including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Cash Management
    • Fixed Assets
    • Tax
    • Subledger Accounting (SLA)
  • Configure and support UK VAT requirements within Oracle Tax.
  • Configure and maintain German VAT (Umsatzsteuer) requirements.
  • Support German statutory accounting and compliance under German GAAP (HGB).
  • Design and configure Oracle Tax rules for multiple legal entities across Europe.
  • Support period-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Ensure Oracle Financial processes comply with UK and German statutory regulations.
  • Participate in data migration, SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
  • Work closely with Oracle technical teams for custom reports, integrations, and extensions.
  • Support financial audits and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare functional specifications and configuration documents.
  • Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 10+ years of Oracle Financials Functional experience.
  • Strong implementation experience with Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud.

Strong knowledge of UK Taxation, including:

  • Experience with German GAAP (HGB) accounting standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Z4 and Z5 reporting for German cross-border payment reporting.
  • Experience configuring Oracle Fusion Tax for European legal entities.
  • Knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA).
  • Strong understanding of Financial Close and Reconciliation processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Reporting Center (FRC).
  • Strong business process documentation skills.
  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Certification.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud implementations in Europe.
  • Knowledge of IFRS reporting.
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Reporting Studio.
  • Exposure to Oracle EDMCS and Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud.
