UK Kingโ€™s Daughters
Ashland, Kentucky

 

UK Kingโ€™s Daughters, a 455-bed regional referral center in Ashland, has been the healthcare home for eastern Kentucky since 1899. Physicians at UK Kingโ€™s Daughters practice within an extremely supportive environment that emphasizes excellent care, collaboration, and shared decision-making. Here, physicians are seen โ€ฆ and heard, holding key, decision-making positions. They guide initiatives ranging from strategic planning and EHR functionality to physician recruitment and population health.

UK Kingโ€™s Daughters is currently seeking a be/bc  clinical cardiac electrophysiologist to join our high-quality, high-volume employed practice. Our Heart and Vascular service is comprised of four electrophysiologists; 20 cardiologists; three endovascular surgeons; two cardiothoracic surgeons; and three interventional radiologists. This position is 100% EP; no cardiology call. Our heart and vascular team includes specialists in advanced heart failure/transplantation; advanced cardiac imaging; and structural heart. Physicians are supported by a team of nearly 40 advanced practice providers (APPs) working collaboratively to provide care to hospitalized and ambulatory patients. The heart and vascular team provides care throughout eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio at 14 practice locations, with EP services provided at five outreach locations.

UK Kingโ€™s Daughters is the only hospital in the region to earn the ACCโ€™s HeartCARE Center of Excellence designation.
