Assistant Womens Soccer CoachDepartment AthleticsBuilding/Location Maxwell Center/Main CampusSupervisor Athletic DirectorMonths Per Year 12Hours Per Week 20Classification Level Part timeSalary Range StipendFLSA Status ExemptSupervises N/APOSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant Womens Soccer Coach will report to the Head Women's Soccer Coach andAthletic Director and will help oversee all aspects of operating a successful IntercollegiateWomens Soccer program.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Any one position may not include all of the listed duties, nordo all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in positions within thisclassification)Student-Athlete Skill Instruction:Assist the Head Coach to teach all basic and advanced skills required in the sport of Soccerduring individual skill sessions, team practices, as well as the strength and conditioningsessions.Assist the Head Coach to develop and implement sound and safe practice plans for bothindividual skill sessions and team practices that successfully prepare the student-athletes withthe fundamentals in the sport of Soccer, as well as the strength and conditioning sessions.Team and Game Preparation:Assist the Head Coach to develop a comprehensive and strategic game plan for eachscheduled contest throughout the season. This includes, but is not limited to, the evaluation ofupcoming opponents, preparing a scouting report for the student-athletes and makingadjustments to the game plan during the contests.Administrative Responsibilities:Assist the Head Coach to organize and coordinate a wide variety of administrative tasks whichinclude, but not limited to; team travel, meet scheduling, budget preparation, officeadministration, academics (retention, graduation, GPAs, academic coaching, study tables),compliance, facility usage, public relations, marketing, style guide, fundraising, communityengagement, fall-winter-spring summer camps and other daily operations for operating asuccessful intercollegiate Soccer program.NCCAA Rules Compliance:Be responsible for knowledge of, and adherence to all NCCAA rules and regulations pertainingto but not limited to recruiting, eligibility, and general operation of the program.REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAccording to Ohio Christian University employment policy, all employees must possess a strongChristian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the OCU Community LifestyleStatement.
