JOB SUMMARY
The UConn Student Health and Wellness (SHaW) Lead Coordinator for Access and Engagement would provide daily oversight of the center's access process and engagement activities. These activities fall into three core areas: Training, Consultation and Operational Efficiencies, and Oversight.
Under the direction of the Director of SHaW Mental Health Clinical Services, this position oversees the day-to-day coordination of specific components of SHaW Mental Health's access and engagement processes. This includes ensuring that all new and current staff are trained in and prepared for the delivery of services offered, including specific Evidence-based Practice models. The lead coordinator remains available for staff consultation regarding these services and ensures all components of the daily operations.
The position is a full-time (35-hour weekly), in-person, 12-month position and reporting to the Director of Clinical Services located on the Storrs Campus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Director of SHaW Mental Health Clinical Services, the SHaW Mental Health Clinical Lead Coordinator would be responsible for the following:
- Provide clinical supervision to special payroll staff and the Clinical Case Management (CCM) team
- Oversight for the clinical training and onboarding of staff
- Supports day on call operations, which may include scheduling, coverage, supervision and review
- Lead implementation efforts related to emerging best practice interventions
- As a member of the Case Review Team, provide back-up support to the review and management of the BeWell line
- Maintain a clinical caseload and provide individual, group and/or couples psychotherapy and provide crisis assessment for students in distress through on-call crisis services
- Prepare required clinical records and case reports in a timely manner and carry on necessary correspondence
- Provide support to the coordination of outreach efforts and conduct workshops and outreach activities designed to provide mental health education to students, staff, faculty, administrators, and parents
- Prepare narrative and statistical reports of activities for use in the evaluation of the mental health services
- Communicate and consult with appropriate university administrators and various mental health and academic faculty. May make referrals to and consult with other mental health agencies offering specialized care beyond the scope of Student Health and Wellness Mental Health Services
- Serve as a resource and consultant to the University community on matters relating to the well-being of students within the limits of confidentiality
- Assist with developing and maintaining policies and procedures to govern mental health services. Ensures adherence to best practices
- Serve on departmental and/or University committees representing Student Health and Wellness and applicable policies and procedures to stakeholders and constituencies
- Performs related work as required
COMPETENCIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
- Six years post-graduate work experience, which may include internship, practicum or doctoral experience.
- Must possess or obtain related Connecticut clinical licensure within one year of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- State of CT Licensed Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience providing supervision.
- Demonstrated experience with clinical and coordinated case management.
- Demonstrated training in evidence-based and brief treatment models.
- Demonstrated expertise in a minimum of one specific treatment relevant to collegiate mental health (for example, eating disorders or attention deficit disorder).

This is a permanent 12-month in-person position at UConn Storrs, Mental Health.
