Homeowners, contractors, and insurance professionals rely on Hover to get fully measured, accurate, and interactive 3D models of any property - all from a smartphone scan in minutes.
At Hover, we're driven by curiosity, purpose, and a shared commitment to serving our customers, communities, and each other. We believe the best ideas come from diverse perspectives and are proud to cultivate an inclusive, high-performance culture that inspires growth, accountability, and excellence. Backed by leading investors like Google Ventures and Menlo Ventures, and trusted by industry leaders including Travelers, State Farm, and Nationwide - we're redefining how people understand and interact with their spaces.
Why Hover wants you
At Hover, Finance isn't a traditional back-office function-we are a core strategic partner shaping how the company operates, scales, and wins. We run lean, which means your footprint here will be massive.
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who thrives in fast-moving environments, spots opportunities beyond the immediate ask, and loves turning ambiguity into execution. If you are deeply curious, highly collaborative, and driven to constantly raise the bar, you'll fit right in.
You will contribute by
This isn't a role where you just maintain the status quo. You will actively evolve our financial infrastructure, optimize planning processes, and partner directly with leadership to guide Hover's next stage of hyper-growth.
Your mission spans three core pillars:
  • Infrastructure & Planning: Own and evolve our core FP&A system (Drivetrain). You'll build and scale high-impact dashboards, reporting workflows, and planning templates that drive everything from monthly reviews and quarterly board-level reporting to company-wide long-range planning.
  • Corporate forecasting and reporting: Take the wheel on corporate and shared expenses-including software, facilities, merit, benefits and other centralized operating expenses. You will build the models that allocate these resources efficiently and create scalable frameworks to manage spend as we grow. You will also report on the business overall to our board of directors and investors.
  • Strategic G&A Partnership: Act as the trusted financial co-pilot to leaders across Finance, Accounting, Legal, People, Recruiting, and IT. You'll help them navigate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close analysis, translating complex data into clear, actionable decisions.

Why you'll love this role:
  • Uncapped Ownership: You will have the autonomy to identify process gaps and proactively build the solutions.
  • A Seat at the Table: Prepare and deliver executive-ready reporting and analysis that directly influences leadership decisions.
  • Clear Path for Growth: As you establish yourself as a trusted partner, you'll have immediate opportunities to expand into broader strategic and operational projects across the company.
Your background includes
  • Experience: 2-5 years in FP&A, corporate finance, business operations, consulting, accounting, or a highly analytical equivalent.
  • Technical Chops: Elite forecasting, financial modeling, and analytical problem-solving skills. You know how to drive reporting scalability and automation.
  • Execution & Detail: A strict QA discipline, high attention to detail, and the ability to seamlessly juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Style: An exceptional ability to translate complex financial concepts into crystal-clear problem statements and solutions for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Mindset: A strong ownership mentality, an appetite for continuous self-improvement, and a desire to challenge the status quo.
Benefits
  • Compensation - Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a fast-growing company
  • Healthcare - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents
  • Paid Time Off - Unlimited and flexible vacation policy
  • Paid Family Leave - We support work/life balance and offer generous paid parental and new child bonding leave
  • Mandatory Self-Care Days - A day set aside each month to allow employees to recharge
  • Remote Wellbeing Resources - We provide recurring fitness classes, meditation/ mindfulness tools, virtual therapy, and family planning assistance
  • Learning - We encourage continued education and will help cover the cost of management training, conferences, workshops, or certifications
