Job description

Undergraduate Admissions:

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions supports the university in meeting its strategic enrollment goals and fulfilling the UCF Strategic Plan. It is responsible for coordinating the identification, recruitment, admission and enrollment of all undergraduate first-time-in-college, transfer, non-degree, dual enrollment, early admission and non-Florida public institution transient students. The office leverages the UCF brand and technology to market, communicate and engage with talented and academically qualified students who will enrich our community and achieve academic and personal excellence.

The Opportunity:

The Slate CRM and Admissions Systems Analyst will be managing the technologies utilized in Undergraduate Admissions has significantly evolved over the years, driven by the increasing complexity and integration of systems. What was once a focus on individual platforms has expanded to encompass planning, development, maintenance, & support for a sophisticated suite of platforms/technologies, including Slate, PS, Raptor, Parchment and test and transcript data loads. As the volume of data and the demand for seamless student experiences have grown, so too has the need for strategic oversight of the technologies needed to support them. This role also evaluates and adopts new technologies to streamline processes & improve the overall student experience.

Classification Title: Application System Analyst II

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates/plans the development of effective technology to meet the institution's enrollment goals and serves as the liaison with on-campus partners.

  • Manages and monitors system integrations and data uploads including but not limited to those into, between and among Slate, PeopleSoft, ViewStar, Raptor/Parchment and Common App.

  • Develops specifications for necessary modifications to PeopleSoft and Slate to accommodate admissions functions in addition to PeopleSoft upgrades and patches including testing plan oversight and approval.

  • Submits, tests, approves, and oversees modifications through the testing environments into production for PeopleSoft in addition to maintaining the security permissions for campus-wide staff to undergraduate data in both Slate and PeopleSoft.

  • Hires, manages, and trains full-time technology staff and serves as backup for all of those function as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency with Slate-Advanced Data Structure.

  • Experience with automation logic, liquid markup/SQL, data stewardship, and

  • lifecycle management.

  • IT Management experience including - SIS Integration management, technical translation, and change management.

  • Background in project management and the ability to translate complex data into reports, dashboards, etc.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $113,714. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.

  • All applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H-1B transfers or employment-based visa. processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.

  • Interviews are expected between August 14th, 2026 to August 21st, 2026, with the anticipated start date of September 11th, 2026. Dates may change based on availability.
