Position Overview:

The Revenue Admin plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Food and Beverage and Retail Departments. Serving as both a point of contact and a liaison between team members, leadership, and management, this position ensures clear communication and efficient interdepartmental coordination. Core responsibilities include preparing daily schedules and documents, assisting new team members as they begin working, and performing a variety of administrative tasks to maintain an organized work environment that supports the overall success of the Food and Beverage and Retail Departments.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with assigning proper positions and divisions to Food & Beverage and Retail Team Members in HRIS and scheduling systems.
  • Assist with creating schedule templates and assist Food & Beverage leadership with scheduling and timekeeping duties.
  • Maintain department communication channels, including answering phones, checking messages, and responding to assigned email inboxes.
  • Ensure food location binders are stocked by printing stand-specific documents for daily operations.
  • Update and maintain departmental databases (e.g., master staff list, certification records, contact lists, and team member information).
  • Process team member terminations.
  • Staff the Revenue Admin desk, assisting with team member and leadership matters as needed.
  • Follow and enforce all Pyek Group and Typhoon Texas policies and procedures, including documenting and notifying leadership when disciplinary action is necessary.
  • Assist in completing performance management forms and track in a departmental database. Submit all completed and logged forms to HR for master documentation.
  • Support leadership in mediating team member complaints and corrective actions as needed.
  • Welcome new Food & Beverage and Retail Team Members, ensure they are provided with the correct uniform, and direct them to the appropriate leadership for training.
  • Ensure new Food & Beverage and Retail Team Members have completed all hiring requirements, hold valid Food Handlerโ€™s and TABC certifications (if applicable), and have finished all required Typhoon Texas departmental training.
  • Assist with processing invoices, including scanning, filing, and ensuring all required audit documentation is properly updated.
  • Upload waste logs and inventory data into the appropriate spreadsheets as needed.
  • Monitor cabana communication channels and respond to or forward messages appropriately.
  • Maintain inventory of departmental office supplies and restock designated outlets as necessary.
  • Greet vendors and direct them to the appropriate areas or management personnel as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of seasonal team member policies and procedures, the hiring process, point-of-sale systems (POS), and general park information.
  • Proactively identify operational and equipment issues and partner with leadership or management to resolve them when appropriate.
  • Embody Typhoon Texasโ€™s moment making keys of intentionality, Texas-friendliness, safety, cleanliness, and fun throughout all departments.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities, roles, departments, or park locations as needed.


Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • May be required to lift 25โ€“50 lbs.
  • May be required to work in various weather conditions, such as direct sunlight, high temperatures, or rain.
  • May occasionally be required to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb, or balance.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of private company and employee information.
  • Must be able to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be an effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills, share analysis, and communicate updates across all levels of the team.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy and professionalism in a high-volume, hospitality-focused environment.
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical skills, generate solutions to complex challenges and work independently
  • Must be able to build and maintain positive, service-oriented relationships with seasonal staff, full-time staff, and the corporate team
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate degree or additional continuing education preferred.
  • A valid Food Handlerโ€™s Permit and TABC certification are preferred.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week preferred.
