Job description

Locum Surgical Urologist needed.
Primary hospital in Rock Island, IL; outpatient clinics in Bettendorf, IA, and Moline, IL
Clinics are 8 & 12 mins apart from the hospital.
Facility Type: Level I-II Trauma/Acute Care (Three-Hospital System), inpatient OR, consults, clinic
ASAP START
Credentialing: 60-90 days + emergency/temporary privileges available; IL active license required, IA in-process welcome
Schedule: 14–16 days/month (schedule posted 90 days in advance)
Prefer 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off
24-hour call coverage from 7pm-7pm, 7-day stints (Monday pm to Monday pm), 2 weeks per month available, extremely flexible
Provide 24-hour call coverage with a 15-minute response by phone and 60-minute response at bedside from hotel.
Patient Volume: 1-2 procedures on OR days, 2-3 OR days per week
Cases/Procedures: Perform surgical procedures with block time allocated in the OR and clinic visits.
Collaborate with a team of experienced Urologists and full-time Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Provide continuity of care across outpatient clinics and inpatient service
Types of Cases: Bread-and-butter urology, cystoscopy, trauma consults
EMR: EPIC
License: Active IL license required; IA license may be in-process.
Certifications: Board Certified, Board Eligible Urology; BLS, ACLS, ATLS preferred
Relevant Exp/Skill Set Needed: Would love 24 months of case logs
12 months is fine for credentialing.
Additional Information: Must have consistent block availability
Must be comfortable with acute inpatient urology
