Job description

Essential Duties:                                     

  • Provide support to customers, account representatives, and internal departments by responding promptly, accurately, and courteously to requests for information.
  • Enter, update, and maintain customer and account information in internal systems.
  • Assist with monitoring system activity and report issues to management or IT support as needed.
  • Support basic system functions and follow established procedures in the event of system interruptions.
  • Assist with preparing monthly reports and billing information by established deadlines.
  • Reconcile physical inventory with system data as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with company policies.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift:  Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:00pm with possible overtime and/or weekend work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with web-based applications or AS400 systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Basic understanding of accounts processing and clerical operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
