Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities are listed below. This associate will perform other duties as required.
90% - Material Handling:
  • Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to identify product to be picked.
  • Operates walkie rider/forklift safely and positions walkie rider/forklift under or around loaded pallets and transports pallets to the conveyor.
  • Attaches identifying tag/label to materials or marks pertinent information on cases.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets by hand neatly to minimize potential damage.
  • Ensures inventory integrity is maintained by picking correct product, quantity, and reporting inventory discrepancies to Management.
  • Completes a daily job card to record work being completed.
  • Operates handheld scanners (RF Equipment), computer systems (WMS), and may manually input additional data as required.
  • Shrink wraps protective material around product.
  • Deposits product to conveyor.
  • Plugs in walkie rider/forklift.
5% - Communication:
  • Communicates internally with warehouse, office, and management personnel.
  • Communicates observations on the floor such as product damage, safety or food safety concerns, housekeeping issues, etc., to management.
  • Notifies agency management of any significant employment related issues including attendance.

• Maintains self-composure in stressful situations.
5% - Safety:
• Utilizes tablet to complete daily equipment inspection sheet for each equipment used.
  • Follows general safety practices and procedures including proper use of PPE, and timely reporting of accidents, incidents, or safety concerns.

• Follows food safety processes and ensures work areas are clean and free from hazards.
• Reports any food safety issues to site leadership.
  • Attends and engages in safety meetings and discussions.
