Job description

Job Title: Walkie Rider Operator
Location: Lockbourne / Groveport - Zona logística
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview
We are hiring 6 Walkie Rider Operators (Electric Pallet Jack) for our warehouse facility in Ludport, Groftport. This role is essential for the efficient movement of products at ground level, order picking, and providing general support to our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate Walkie Rider / Electric Pallet Jack equipment to transport pallets and products throughout the warehouse.
• Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trucks or trailers safely and efficiently, following proper procedures and coordinating with dispatch.
• Order Picking: Perform picking tasks and move loads that can vary in weight (up to 50 lbs or more) multiple times during the shift.
• Storage & Staging: Ensure proper storage of all inbound loads in the correct warehouse locations. Verify that all shipments are correctly marked and staged before storing or picking.
• Housekeeping: Maintain the warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping practices. Ensure trailers are swept clean of any debris when empty.
• Documentation: Ensure all required documentation is properly completed and coordinated.
Requirements
• Previous experience operating Walkie Riders or Electric Pallet Jacks in a warehouse setting.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull loads, and to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to warehouse safety standards and procedures.
• Schedule: Shifts to be determined (flexibility to work various shifts is a plus).
