Job description

This position is located at 301 W 13th St, Fort Worth, TX in the North Texas Tele-Center.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Program Supervisor III performs complex (journey-level) administrative and supervisory program work. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
-Perform complex supervisory work in the North Texas Tele-Center. 
-Plan, schedule, organize, and supervise activities of a large group of employees engaged in major areas of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Program.
-Work with employees in a team environment to ensure Tele-Center staff follow procedures and protocol.
-Ensure staff meet the agency goal of quality customer service.
-Ensure claims are handled timely and accurately, paid correctly, and quality decisions are made using professional interviewing techniques.
-Develop and recommend program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations and monitors compliance with policies and procedures.
-Provide training or technical assistance in program area(s).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU QUALIFY WITH:
- One year and six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and procedures in a public or private agency.
- Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position. 
- One year of full-time in-service TWC experience classified as a Program Supervisor II with regular status will satisfy the minimum qualifications.

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:
-Knowledge & experience in the UI Program & of the Texas Unemployment Compensation Act. 
-Experience in interpreting and applying Benefits Manual, Benefits Letters, Appeal Policy & Precedent, Commission Rules, ETA 301 and Directives in evaluating completed investigations and complex claim actions and calls.
-Experience in working and managing a caseload of job separation and non-separations preferred
-Coaching, mentoring, training, monitoring, and quality Improvement experience preferred.
-Service to agency customers, other staff, groups, and situations with quality and timely customer service in accordance with TWC's mission, vision, and philosophy.
-Have one year and six months of full-time experience in the development, implementation, or interpretation of policies and 
procedures in a public or private agency.
-Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
