Elopak is a global leader in carton packaging and filling equipment, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable packaging solutions to food and beverage producers worldwide. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated North America Equipment Sales Director to lead the growth of our filling equipment business across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic sales professional with deep food and beverage packaging expertise, strong technical acumen, and a passion for building long-term customer partnerships.

About the Role

As North America Equipment Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that expand Elopak's market share for ESL and Shelf-Stable gable-top carton filling machinery. You will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them evaluate, implement, and optimize advanced packaging solutions while supporting Elopak's commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Working closely with Marketing , Technical Support, Project Management, and Executive Leadership teams, you will drive business growth while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead sales efforts for Elopak's portfolio of ESL and Shelf-Stable gable-top carton forming and filling equipment.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market penetration and revenue growth throughout North America.
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations, equipment demonstrations, and solution-based sales proposals to executives, engineers, operations leaders, and maintenance teams.
  • Travel extensively throughout North America and internationally to visit customer facilities, assess installation opportunities, and support business development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions that meet customer operational and business requirements.
  • Create and review equipment layouts using AutoCAD to evaluate project feasibility and support customer decision-making.
  • Prepare commercial quotations, layout proposals, and financial analyses.
  • Support successful project execution by coordinating post-sale handoffs to project management and monitoring customer satisfaction throughout implementation.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and business reporting to leadership.
  • Partner with Marketing to support trade shows, sales materials, and market development initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, food safety regulations, competitive activity, and sustainable packaging developments to help guide business strategy.
  • Promote renewable, fiber-based packaging solutions as sustainable alternatives to plastic packaging.
What We're Looking For

You are a confident sales leader who combines commercial excellence with technical expertise. You understand the complexities of food and beverage manufacturing environments and excel at translating technical capabilities into customer value.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in the food and beverage packaging industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success selling food and beverage packaging equipment.
  • Strong written, presentation, and technical communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • AutoCAD experience, including the ability to review and develop equipment layouts.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and 2D/3D plant engineering models.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations including 3-A, PMO(Pasteurized Milk Ordinance), FDA, and HACCP.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Career progression from technical, engineering, operations, or manufacturing roles into equipment sales.
  • Knowledge of UL, cUL, NFPA 79, TÜV Rheinland standards, industrial controls, networking architecture, PLC systems, IIoT technologies, and thermal processing systems.
