IBG North America specializes in turnkey solutions, private label and packaging in the beauty industry. Together, we are concept builders and boosters with global opportunities for well-known retailers and brands.
We are currently seeking a strategic and driven Sales Director to join our dynamic team in New York. In this high-impact role, you will identify and pursue promising market prospects to accelerate IBG's growth, with a primary focus on Packaging and Turnkey solutions. You'll partner closely with our marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure sales strategies are aligned with the company's broader growth objectives and positioned for long-term success.
In this role, you will:
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential clients for packaging and turnkey solutions.
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy, including account planning and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities to promote IBG products and services.
  • Meet or exceed business development targets to support revenue growth and market share expansion.
  • Provide insights to the product and marketing teams to inform strategies and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Engage with prospects via cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Track sales activities, maintaining accurate records of all interactions and business development efforts.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure effective communication between clients and internal teams (Project Manager, Product Developers, Industrial Design, Package Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain).
  • Advise clients on project timelines, addressing any delays or issues promptly.
  • Manage daily correspondence with suppliers and clients, communicating vendor issues to internal stakeholders.

About you:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business or equivalent experience
  • A proven track record in business development and sales.
  • Experience in the beauty or cosmetics industry in turnkey, strongly preferred.
  • Experience in packaging in the beauty or cosmetics industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute high-impact sales strategies that drive growth and exceed targets.
  • Expertise in analyzing market trends, building strong client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions.
